Cherubic March

Cherubic March is short work written for a rather odd arrangement of instruments, reflecting the instruments that were played by Carlos, his two siblings, and two of his cousins. The piece was written as a small wedding gift for a relative of Carlos, and was performed once in a brief informal concert at the wedding reception. The quintet is roughly in rondo form, allowing each of the three woodwinds to present a melody of their own accompanied by horn and piano, all coming together in the introduction and conclusion of the short piece.
