The Peabody Symphony Orchestra regularly dedicates a number of reading sessions, including rehearsals and a concert recording, to taking on works composed by Peabody students. This spring semester, Michael Djabarov will lead PSO in the premiere performance of Nexus I in a program also featuring the school’s Artistic Director of Ensembles, Joseph Young, and works written by Zachary Detrick, Michael Balsamo, and Yoonjung Lee.

The public concert for these readings will take place on February 14th at 7:30 PM in Peabody’s Miriam A Friedberg Concert Hall. The event will be free and open to the public, and a livestream will also be available as a feed from Peabody Remote.
